Look into homesteading
 
You basically sell off most of your possessive shit, move out of suburbia, cash out and buy land. Live out of camper for one year while you build a cabin. You will still need some kind of income. See what work from home jobs you can get or figure out something you can machine or design in your shop and repeat, for sale at quantities you can reproduce. For example welding together trailers and selling them.

Lots of ways out of the rat race especially if you are single male. Women have tougher time letting go of creature comforts

I agree brother and have been planning my escape from jew york. Been looking at cheap land in Texas. I'm skilled at some things but will have to learn a bit more. Have no issues living in a trailer or other means, military taught me that. Only issue is the wife, kind of a green acres issue except I'm not some city slicker rich lawyer. Peace brother.
