Even considering that they only attack civilians, the IDF is still almost certainly lying through their teeth about their actual casualties and the casualties of their enemies, and they probably always have been doing this.
Anything to convince the west that they're an "elite" fighting force and that giving them a bajillion trillion dollars isn't just a massive waste of money.
"Goyim, we killed 50,000 hamas fighters while they only killed 3 IDF soldiers!" Nevermind that hamas still exists, and israel dragged themselves into their own Vietnam. They're incapable of handling hamas. They recently voted to invade the west Bank and they have an ongoing conflict with syria, how the fuck are they supposed to manage this when they can't beat hamas?
The veil slipped when the iron dome failed a month ago and tel Aviv looked like gaza after Iranian missiles goodified the Israelis. Israeli bots and JIDF agents are still running damage control efforts about this to say that iran took more damage, but everyone remembers whose entire population was crying online in fear, and who needed help from an outside entity (newsflash: it wasn't iran)
And how many civilians they have murdered: these statistics are usually estimated based on aid workers and hospitals, but Israel have murdered most of those civilians too.
Given 80% of Gaza is now rubble, I'm estimating 300,000 murders have been committed.
