It shouldn’t be normal for everyone to work 2 jobs or 60 hours a week and not be able to afford anything. All we do in this country is work and pay bills. We live like slaves. You cant even take one day off work or you won’t be able to cover rent or eat for a week.

When I’m on the road every car I see cost 10 to 40 times as much as mine and that’s before you calculate the interest. How are people affording to buy trucks that come out to the price of a home if they pay the entire 84 months, then it craps out all at once and they need a new one.
They don't. They take out the 84 month loan for the lowest payment possible, then roll over the balance in three years as if they were driving a lease. But actually recommend a lease to them and they get offended. "I own my trucks!" Ugh, no, Bubba. You own the fucking debt. You *never* owned any of the trucks you've "bought" (with the bank's money).
Most people belong in a lease. Yes, there's millage "limits" but it's only a few cents per mile over that. Compare that amount to what you're paying to own the whole car and the savings is obvious. People suck at math and they want to pretend like they can afford a whole car when a lease better suits their budget and lifestyle. Most Americans finance a new car every three to four years ... *that's a fucking lease!* 🙄
