He did not have to debate himself whether it was morally justified to kill or not. He already answered that question.
He had a checklist of things that had to be checked off before deciding to kill someone.
That nigger checked off all the boxes before the cop even showed up.
At some point the conversation between the cops switched from "How can we get him to hand over the baby?" to "How can we kill him without hurting the baby?"
No hesitation, not even a glimpse of regret. Just smoothly moving and gently squeezing the trigger. Actions that he had already practiced 10,000 times before, if not in real life at least in his mind.
