that's a nice argument jewgle, but i think its because stones are free and trying to "treat everyone equally" is just a clever attempt at hiding you being a cheap bastard
P.S if you didn't know, jews don't use coffins
rather they wrap the body in cloth and throw as is into a dug grave, then cover it with dirt and then on top of it they put the gravestone
