Count me among them. How else do you fight off inflation? This is all by design. The fastest way to lose your savings is to put it in a "savings" acct. where inflation eats away at it. None of them pay adequate interest rates. Again, all by design. There's no other option but to be invested in the market and to rise or fall with it. Is that a gamble? Maybe, but then so it walking out your front door in the morning.
