Whatever.

I'm a single dad raising and supporting my kids entirely on my own. I have and would *never* work two minimum wage jobs (which just so happens to neatly sidestep overtime requirements, btw). Think about it:

If I work 40 hours a week at $15/hr, I make about $2400 a month. Say I double that to 80 hours a week, effectively making my life *entirely* about my shitty minimum wage jobs; I now make $4800. Rent, plus utilities, for a two bed (the bare minimum to start a family) is $2500. A car, plus insurance and the gas needed to drive to work, is $500. Phone/internet/entertainment is another $100. Food is $400...no, wait, you're working constantly so you can't cook for yourself so $800. Luckily you can't have any hobbies, so that saves a bit. Set aside another $400 for emergencies (either you save ahead of time or pay off debt later) and you can save around $500 per month, $6000 per year. Assuming nothing big happens and you keep both jobs. Oh, and we'll just ignore taxes.

To save up a $100k house down payment would take nearly 17 years (and that's low, in my area), assuming prices don't jump. The whole time you're wage slaving, maybe trying to raise kids in a single bedroom, which means you're even less able to save. Or you wait until you're 40 to start a family. Then you just need to keep slaving for another 30-40 years to pay the mortgage off, then you can start saving for retirement or sell the house to go back to living in a tiny apartment.

It has nothing to do with lazy and everything to do with stupid. This dude is a grifter (pretty obvious from the pictures on his wall).
