If you haven't read Fischer and McWhiney do you even have the foundations to speak on Post-revolutionary "white" culture?
So much of what remnant slave populations call their own culture came from poor whites that lived much the way they did.
Oh you think southern food is black? Its English cooking with the natives corn. (And no okra was in Europe from the times of the Caliphate rulling North Africa)

When you have little to no culture if your own, you make new culture or you make UP old culture....
