Every single first wave feminist had a father who gave her too much leeway and encouraged her in her stupid activism. Because she was his special little girl and deserved the best that life could give her, including driving cars and voting.

The patriarchy broke down because of dereliction of duty by the patriarchs. And that it was done out of love and with good intentions doesn't really matter when assigning blame
