Of course a lot of powerful people were in Epstein's orbit. He was a ridiculously wealthy socialite and had met pretty much everybody who ever had money or influence at one point or another.
Try to focus, we're talking specifically about him keeping a 'list' and 'blackmail'. For all you know, powerful people *were* raping kids on the island, but he specifically ***>didn't<*** keep records.
And you know what? There's just as much a reason to believe that's true too. Because what good is blackmail unless you use it? How many powerful people, over the years, fucked kids on the island, and Epstein showed them videos, and.... they did nothing about it? Why didn't they kill him sooner, then? Why would people keep going to the island, then? It's not like everyone involved would have had no idea who the fuck set that trap for them, lmao. "Oh look it's that very specific room I was in on a very specific island that's owned by a very specific person."

Also I'm going to add that the allegations of a list and such came out before any of that stuff you mentioned.

As a rule, I rarely believe anything 'witnesses' say, and there's a reason courts don't believe them either. Witnesses lie about shit *all the fucking time*.
Furthermore, what if someone testified there was no list? Would you believe *them?* The answer is 'no', because you only believe things when they tell you exactly what you like to hear, which is precisely the problem I stated originally.
Finally, if you believe in the Divine, then you have to accept that God certainly has a sense of humor, and history and reality are rife with impossible odds and coincidences and bizarre happenings. For all you know God is bored and just makes this shit happen to fuck with you.

The answer isn't 'no'. The only *possible* source for that story would be the FBI and the prison, and both of them said *most* of the cameras were offline - *but nobody ever said ALL of them were not working.*

And this brings me to another point. The story about the camera issues came from the FBI report. So you believe the FBI when they tell you something you want to hear (NO CAMERAS! OMG!) but not when they say something you don't want to hear.
Since I don't believe the government has secret technology that lets people phase through solid matter, it would hardly matter, because the camera issues were limited to the specific holding area Epstein was in. There were still a million other cameras across the prison, how is it that nobody has thought to inquire about the footage on *those* cameras showing Hillary Clinton wearing Groucho Marx glasses sneaking in with a ligature?

The victims testified under oath. If they lied, why aren't they in prison? Why instead was Epstein arrested and why is his wife still in prison? And the partial client list was leaked to WikiLeaks, you can go Google it yourself. If this list is a fraud, why isn't Julian Assange (or whoever runs WikiLeaks) charged with defamation and misinformation? A ton of multi-millionaire celebrities like Tom Hanks, Kevin Spacey, Jimmy Kimmel, etc. were already named.

I'll just repeat myself: if this is all a big nothing, then why was Epstein arrested and why is his wife still in prison? Why was there even a trial? Why did anyone take the witness testimony seriously?
