Isolate. Instigate. Escalate. That's the formula.

* They **Isolate** you by detaining you.

* They **Instigate** a confrontation by asking questions/ making unlawful demands.

* Then they **Escalate** to violence when you resist their unlawful demands.

This is actually the protocol they teach them at police academies.
