I must be reading this wrong.

Wasps do pollinate flowers. We just don't use wasps nests to increase our own crops pollination rates like we do with (domesticated) bees.

True, but those are yellow jackets and have no value to the ecosystem. WASPs remove destructive pests from the garden and only sting when provoked

Edit: I relocate wasps nest to my garden area for the benefit of my garden. I actively seek yellow jacket nest for genocide
