I don't think you understand how the law works. They dropped CERTAIN charges (presumably because they thought their case was weak), not all charges. If you leave the charges in that are unlikely to stick, you could unwittingly convince the jury to keep voting not guilty because this is obviously a hit job and they just want you gone. Leave the ones likely to stick, you might get one through or two charges through.

It all depends on the jury though. These prosecutors have their careers on the line here, so they just want to win. And I'm curious what charges are left.
