My favorite way they outsmart God is with kosher light switches. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KosherSwitch

Instead of controlling the flow of electricity directly, it is constantly randomly turning on or off but the signal is only allowed through as an indirect result of the switch being on. Therefore, use of the switch doesn't actively do anything and is therefore permissible.
