She’s not very intelligent for remaining with a spineless cuckold for that long without demanding he ask for her hand in marriage at no later than the 2 year mark. And honestly, she should have noticed he was a spineless cuckold way, way before that. Why be with him at all?

I don’t doubt that he’s representing her message correctly, which makes it all the more confusing that she would remain with him while saying such levelheaded and intelligent things.
