The shahed 136 is an iranian drone (Try to freeze frame at 0:01 to see it) that crashes into enemy targets to deliver an explosive payload.
They're made out of cheap fiberglass and are powered by economical propeller engine. The cost to manufacture these drones is estimated to be around $10,000. Which is very cheap as far as military tech is considered.
The problem with these drones is that they're very slow. Since they're propeller powered, they take a long time to reach their targets and are able to easily be shot down.
However, more and more reports are coming of these drones actually making it all the way to their targets, and Iran seems to be launching these cheap drones instead of their costly high-tech missiles.
What this seems to suggest is that, Israel's air defenses (iron dome, arrow, all that bullshit) is either completely destroyed, or depleted. Knowing this, Iran no longer needs to send their expensive ordinance when they can rely on swarms of cheap drones instead.
The idea behind this drone imo is to overwhelm or deplete enemy air defenses. They launch literally *hundreds* of them at a time. Modern missiles are extremely capable, but they are also very expensive and limited in number.
