My God, thou art my light forever
And I shall never forget thee.
Though the gale blows against me, I shall not fear or deviate
For by you my navigation will always be true.
I will keep thee in my sights while the waves batter my vessel,
And my faith will remain in the tempest.
      
Though the waves break the bow and peril is upon me,
I shall not fear: for thee, my God, be with me
I will make it to safe berthing
And I will exalt your name forever,
For thou art everything.
