He skirts it for sure... Some of his stuff is insightful, but some seems wacky to me. Understanding the ancient semitic mind can help illuminate the OT, but carried too far causes insanity... (IMO)

i got into his content because of stuff like fairies and dragons, because i didn't just want these things to be pagan lies or fantasy, and it seems like it isn't (literally thank God) but then there are things which are very iffy to put it mildly.
