**The seven sealed scroll in Revelation is a divorce decree:**

Leviticus 26:18: “And if in spite of this you will not listen to me, then I will discipline you again sevenfold for your sins.”

Connection to Revelation’s 7-Sealed Scroll:

The seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls in Revelation can be seen as a pattern of escalating judgments, like those listed in Leviticus 26.

Each set of 7 judgments grows in intensity — just as Leviticus 26 warns of repeated, intensified punishment for covenant breaking.

The scroll in Revelation 5 may symbolically represent a covenantal indictment or legal document, possibly like a divorce decree (Jer 3:8), or a curse document (cf. Zechariah 5).

This three-part series by Ken Gentry on Revelation is good, the second one is where he gives a ton of scripture showing Jerusalem became the whore of Babylon and was condemned to death with Christians being the new bride dressed in white.

Dispensationalists completely abandon the OT context.

John eats a scroll right before 70AD just as Ezekiel eats a scroll before the judgment against them 586BC.

Yeah, a lot of the things that were documented by Josephus seem to confirm that Apocalypse was at least in part verified by the seige and sack of Jerusalem, which makes the abomination that is talmudism even more of a LARP, as not only were Christ's prophecies of the destruction of Judea for its apostasy confirmed, but so were the visions of His Apostle St. John.
