Videos games exist to allow people to indulge in unrealistic fantasies. Since running and looting are commonplace for blacks, the fantasy being indulged here is clearly them being able to preserve those artifacts on their own.

DEATHLOOP probably did a better job at combatting black stereotypes than this game, because the protagonist is a black father who's trying to reunite with his estranged daughter.

But of course, that game was made by white people.

nobody cares about black representation more than white idiots. even blacks don't care, they just want to fuck and fight, and probably vanishingly few of them play any other videogames than NBA 2K and Madden. mayyybe some GTA but now that the protagonists are white and mexican, I doubt they'll give a fuck.

Yeah that's probably why the game bombed as hard as it did.

It's not even a bad game, but likely too complicated for blacks (there's riddles to solve) and too blackwashed for whites.

It’s been on giveaway on Epic at least twice now, despite being a triple A title that’s barely four years old. And the gameplay is actually quite solid, so it must be the story or the characters that are turning people off.
