Back in my day, you had an older friend, or family member who would pass down their reliable “beater” to help a cracka out. Does this not go on anymore?

I will say this, I couldn’t afford to drive until I was 18 with a full time gig because in New Orleans the car insurance is astronomically high for everyone thanks to niggers. They make it so fucking costly for good decent people to flourish. If I was young today, and just starting out, I’d likely just grab one of those electric scooter type things if I could get away with it to get to my first job or two.
