Hebrew comes from the name Eber, most likely, who predated Judah immensely. Things began to make sense when I realized Jews falsely try to claim Jew = Hebrew = Semite = Israel.
Jew = tribe of Judah.
Hebrew = son of Eber (predates Israel)
Semite = son of Shem (predates Israel)
Israel = Jacob, father of many sons, one of which was Judah.
Abraham is a called a "hebrew patriarch". That sounds rather jewish to me.
Again, I am NOT saying that Christianity is judaism 2.0, or that it is bad, but they do come from the same source.
