I really should just write down my own experience for my kids to read later or something. When I was in my teens (around 9/11) I was sucked into the neocon propaganda of the time. Basically proto MIGA. Taking on the JQ was exactly this process. Like, "wait, that's a hell of a coincidence..." over and over again. Well after the fact, when I read Uncle A's account of his own awakening and how he initially rejected it as ignorance, it was uncanny how familiar it felt.
