They don’t hear because they’re not conscious. There’s nothing happening in their brains.

Well, they are low IQ and thus have less cognitive capability to pay attention to their environment. Whatever menial thing they do, all their cognitive ability is spent on that.

For me random sounds are somewhat distracting or annoying, although I like natural sounds. But when these damn birds fly over right in front of my window and start shouting at each other like crazy, or my neighbors make sure to schedule lawnmowing in a way at least one of them does it every day, I get a little angry.

A chirping sound like that would drive me crazy, especially if it's frequent. I know... from experience.

Anyway, for me I have enough cognitive capabilities that I inevitably perceive annoyances and distractions, which drain processing power, which reduce my ability to focus or can completely derail it.

I don't think niggers, who at their peak are beneath my lowest have such issues.

I'm not sure if you've had to deal with this yet, but I've noticed almost all modern appliances are incredibly loud, and they tend to have way longer run times due to "efficiency."

We had to replace our old fridge and went with what we thought was a good one. The thing is so fucking loud and the compressor almost never turns off. I couldn't spend the first few months down stairs, it's just an ear piercing sound. Couldn't return it - no returns without original packaging, which guess who took away after they finished delivery. Techs came out said it's fine (obviously).

More and more i feel like it's some crazy conspiracy to stifle cognitive power. I still haven't fully tuned it out, but all I can think is that my brain is now actively being forced to waste power to tune this fridge compressor out.

But then I think about what you said, and the fact we know the population is at least 1 standard deviation dumber compared to approx the 90s. Maybe people just aren't as in tune anymore and the manufacturers have slowly gotten away with annoying and terrible products because I am an outlier now by the fact I notice it.

Burns my britches too because I know this fucker probably won't last 10 years, meanwhile the ancient box from the 70s in the garage is still going strong, and also doesn't sound like a cricket hopped up on meth

Well, I think it's just negligence and sloppiness that leads to that. They just don't care.

> have slowly gotten away with annoying and terrible products because I am an outlier now by the fact I notice it.

Probably, yes. I assume *most* people don't care either. Most people also think "smart" devices are better than non-smart devices. None of my appliances are "smart", I even use a Nokia brick phone. Also most people also seem to be influenced as intended by advertisements. Not sure if most, but certainly too many.

Yeah. In the past the concept of planned obsolescence wasn't popular, so whatever old appliances you have probably work today as well. Nowadays, if you return an item, they'd even rather let you keep it and send you a new one, than try to repair it or just look at it. It's a highly consumerist, wasteful system that leads to low quality products.

I think it's mostly just down to laziness. You could probably get used to just about any sound or smell if you're too lazy to deal with it.

I have a white friend who has a smoke detector which has been beeping every thirty seconds for several years now. He doesn't hear it anymore, but it all started with his "Yeah, I'll have to get around to doing that" mentality. He'll never just fix something which needs fixing in the moment. He'll never do anything in the moment. It's all "effort". Think of that story of the Africans who have a hole in their roof but never fix it when the sun is out because there's no problem when it's not raining. There's no problem for the 29 seconds that thing isn't beeping so why expend effort? The human brain accommodates for laziness if that's how you want to live your life.

They're not from the jungle. That's too dangerous for them so they live in the planes. Meanwhile light skin humans made wooly mammoth and saber tooth tiger extinct.

Funny theory, but man come on. This has to be one of the laziest and most pointless posts in a while. It's literally just a screenshot of some comments from THIS BOARD...
