I actually a/b tested this yesterday or the day before, using only the words "Project Tin" as a post title, with a screencap of some dipshit tweet about the decay and collapse of infrastructure.
I expected it to get maybe +10 because everyone knows that is pkvi's hashtag, but without the paragraph title it pulled +58/-1
The difference is that ayh could care less about votes -- votes are not representative of actual viewership -- they are representative of connecting with primary users -- but this site gets more non-users than users. Ayh am more interested in the conversation and action than preaching to the choir. Every up vote is more or less just high fiving drunken buddies over the same team. Ayh have seen content from this website migrate to other websites, pro and con, and those are who you shd aim for.
