I was a lane attendant at a bowling alley in the mid 80’s. They were always doing gimmicks to get people to bowl on non league nights. The worst one was ‘Soul Bowl’; an attempt to attract niggers to the sport. The darkies came, but the gimmick didn’t work out for the usual reasons.
They didn’t have automatic scoring systems in those days. You were given a sheet of celluloid to place on an overhead projector, then you did the math in the appropriate boxes. Niggers could not do this. The directions were on the sheet. Didn’t matter. Sheboons had really long fingernails in this era, so they could not bowl normally. So the bucks would bowl and their boons would cause trouble. Trouble was their sport. Each Soul Bowl event I worked was a black pill buffet.
