How did the jews not drink from the poisoned wells?

In their passover story, they marked doorways with blood to avoid the Night of the Cull. ***Did they mark the wells? Was it word of mouth?***

Should I be looking for red smears to denote jew-approved consumables? Should I be listening to the jew sermons in the synagogues to get a list of poisoned wells?

jews typically didn't drink from wells (only running water) which is why poisoning wells was always an easy go-to for them to attack Christians with.
