Yes. If you ever wanted an effective assassination of a government figure, it would be a member of the supreme court--while your team is in charge. Didn't Trump appoint 3? Very powerful. Has long term effects.

But you also have to ignore that the entire government has illegitimized itself over the past decade or two. As far as I'm concerned they don't have authority anymore but the people haven't yet been Juneteenth'ed to realize it.
