The telling thing is that there are literally tens of millions of black Americans who would still PUBLICLY admit that they'd side with the black guy here and that he should get a second chance or that he shouldn't go to jail for this, and that maybe it was her fault, or some other nigger mental gymnastics bullshit that makes zero logical sense.

Sure, you get a few dollars up-front, but then what about the money you lose in depreciating your vehicle with added miles, fuel spent, wear on your tires, oil changes, and your time? That's called an *externality* -- Uber externalizes all those costs to you, which is why they don't want to maintain a fleet of their own vehicles. And what if the random strangers you pick vandalize your personal car? Fuck that!
If people ran the numbers and approached it like a real business, they'd realize they're actually working for free or losing money.
