Given how few hours that a child spends with a priest relative to teachers, it’s actually quite high. I went through my local Diocese statistics based on who they will disclose “credibly” molested children, combined with the known criminal convictions here in Western Massachusetts. Based on the ones they will admit to, all long dead, at one point 13+% of priests in the diocese had at some point touched a child. That works about 2 for every 15 priests, more than 1 in 10.
You can check the math too, it’s for Springfield Massachusetts’ diocese. The monsters they had preaching “peaked” in 1980 according to what they will admit, but those are the ones that are dead. I do not think this problem can be understated enough. I have known several people who were touched by priests as altar boys, one committed suicide. I haven’t known any personally who were by teachers.

You did a lot of mathamagic and assumption-magic, but it's meaningless without a common baseline of how much exposure the common pedo had to their child victims.
Generally speaking, pedos are often relatives who likely have less exposure to their victims than a priest.
From personal experience, I was lucky to have seen any of my aunts or uncles more than a few times per year.
There is no assumption made. There are 48 names that have been confirmed by the diocese. 21 of those were tried and found guilty while alive. All during times when the number of clergy did not exceed 323. Show me any organization with dozens of pedos on the payroll and I’ll show you rot
