There's no need to belabor the point, but I think the idea we're in a post-scarcity condition is overstated. There is a limit to the soil, energy is not infinite, the need for copper and other industrially important metals far outstrips known reserves. We almost had things crack in 2020-2022. There were real diesel shortages in the US, for example. Return on energy investment is going to be a massive problem going forward.
