The price of a manufactured home out in the desert of my home state has more than doubled over the past five years. There's no such thing as cheap housing anymore, just "cheaper than $200k housing". Pay $500k in a city or $100k in the middle of nowhere, either way you're getting jewed.

Go buy your own lumber and build your own house. It's way cheaper than hiring people nowadays
