The worst case I've seen, by far, is Extraction (2020).

It's an action movie with Chris Hemsworth, surely chosen to play this part because he's associated with playing the hero Thor.

In this movie he sacrifices himself for a shitskin kid that he just met. At least in Grand Torino there was a whole story about Clint being old, terminally ill, and absolutely alone, so he clings to this bug kid.
But in Extraction Chris is an action hero, very strong, who then spends like 1 day with this shitskin kid that he was paid to rescue, and then decides to sacrifice himself for him. It's so fucked up.
