We'll see how long that lasts. He was recently on Tucker saying (paraphrasing slightly) "nations who can't exist without being propped up by the US shouldn't exist. In fact, they already don't exist."
Tucker stopped him and said "But Israel needs the US. Their nuclear program, military, etc. requires US aid in order to stay functional."
Matt replied, "Why would I make an exception for Israel? That's like asking me 'what about South Korea?' I don't think Israel needs US support to exist, but if they can't exist without it, so be it."
He makes a good point though - a nation that can't exist without being propped up by another is *not* a sovereign nation. It's a vassal state at best.
Anyway Matt had a successful career before the JewyWire; he will continue to have one after I'm sure. Brett Cooper is doing well, Candace Owens seems to be doing great... It's a nice system we have with podcasting where individual viewpoints can get promoted. It's like AM radio all over again.
Yea years even. Shortly after the Israel/Palestine thing flared up again (October 7th), there was a Daily Wire backstage where Matt was saying that patriotism shouldn't be measured in whether or not you support another country (speaking specifically in regards to Israel). Ben was there and noticeably perturbed; there was a meme video that arose out of [this conversation](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3XaKALvc8E), but I can't seem to find it.
Anyway that's been Matt's position since he first started making his name. I was just saying that he *recently* reiterated it on Tucker's show, and with the heads rolling at DW lately, I wouldn't be surprised if BS tried to reel him in and he just walked.
