There was a situation at work that I caused but denied having any involvement in, especially since I knew 110% that it couldn't be pinned on me. Still, I volunteered to help fix the problem because I'm not that kind of guy.
The female supervisor gave me an attitude, saying "Why would you do that if you told me it's not your fault?" Even though she suspected me, she couldn't accept the olive branch and just let me take the problem off her hands so I cold fix it. She pushed the issue to the next manager up, likely trying to get me fired. I told him I was only trying to help her out, but that I had a big project due and couldn't help out anymore. He said something like, "Yeah, I think she deserves this mess. Don't worry about it."
Women can NEVER accept an olive branch, which is why they don't belong in leadership roles.
