His biggest donors are yids, especially Nathan Kirsh.
However, there's a clip of him where he claims that 'Malema' is derived from a yiddish surname and that therefore he is some kind of yid in his own right.
They hate 'Black Israelism'; they'd hate this similar claim, too.
A more likely cause is that there's also clips in which he catches onto the decades-long yiddish connections of President Ramaphosa. Ramaphosa begins as something like a bodyguard seen accompanying wealthy yids. Later, he goes into business, rapidly ascends in wealth, and eventually becomes president once the yids take back the ANC from Zuma and his more redistributive faction.
Zuma: they earlier thought they could strengthen the ANC with him because he would bring in with him his Zulu supporters. But Zuma was more friendly with Indians and Iranians than yids. It all backfired. Zuma's faction backstabbed the more yid-friendly faction. Wealthy Indians like the Gupta family were now ascending, yids were mad. Their mass media started hammering away at Zuma. Eventually, they were able to get Zuma on corruption; they then used that as the pretext to retake the ANC from his faction.
Malema finds it all suspicious but doesn't realise the full ramifications (*viz*, Ramaphosa as their puppet like the earlier Mandela, the 'blackface' that they put on the post-Zuma ANC).
