It's so infuriating standing in line behind nigs at a grocery store with a cart full of goyslop, and they swipe the EBT card.

Then i have just a small fraction of stuff i can barely budget, milk beef, veggies some staples and it's $100 of my own hard-earned money.

I go shopping with my elderly neighbour every week and he spends more than twice what I do on his gorceries, and I have two kids.

He gets nothing but pre-packaged junk (to be fair, he can't stand to cook very well anymore) while I cook from scratch; it really is that simple.

Even so, inflation has hit everyone. My grocery bills have tripled in just that last few years. It's nuts.

Yeah people who say "just cook at home" are ignoring this lol. I remember around 2019 I could get like 6 lbs of sirloin steaks at kroger on sale for like 18 bucks total, now I'm lucky to get a couple small packages for that much.

Well, cooking at home has always been cheaper and preferable, but inflation has hit everything, not just goyslop from the grocery store and restaurants. I cook almost exclusively at home, and my grocery bills have still tripled.
