My mom and dad fed me and my 4 other siblings during the 2008 - 2009 financial crisis, we almost lost our house, we couldn't pay the bills, and my dad was one bad week away from filing for unemployment. Despite all of that, we never went hungry, and in fact quite the opposite, we had good, wholesome and nutritious food throughout our entire childhoods, want to know why? because unlike these idiots who spend all their money on premade and frozen goyslop, my parents actually put a modicum of effort into our food plans, they hunted down all the best sales and specials at our local grocery stores and COOKED those meals at home.

The result was us eating good food without breaking the budget, even during the worst financial state my family has ever been in.

P.S: don't shop at Trader Joe's dumbass.

Yup... paying for base-ingredients vs paying for pre-made, pre-packed and processed shit is like night and day difference cost-wise

when the local E-mart jews bumped the price of guacamole i just splurged a bit on a stone grinder and made it myself

and infact, it tastes a whole lot better than the crappy shit they buy off beaners in bulk (the secret is in the spices)

I never could eat premade guac, they put so much shit in there you can't even taste the avocado.

And its always kinda bland and slimy. Avocado is not good when its not freshly cut.

There's always so many hot women at Trader Joe's though. I drive by and think about going in just to get a lady's number after some small talk about recipes.

Trader Joe's for some reason the fat ugly women don't shop there.

I worked at a similar health food store and you are right almost exclusively attractive people shop there. I always joked with my wife that I was lucky to have her because if I was single I would've gotten fired for flirting with customers lmao

and this is just for a week (or less)

now imagine having to wageslave that hard, when sheniqua and paco the taco can just easily get free food via EBT

It's so infuriating standing in line behind nigs at a grocery store with a cart full of goyslop, and they swipe the EBT card.

Then i have just a small fraction of stuff i can barely budget, milk beef, veggies some staples and it's $100 of my own hard-earned money.

I go shopping with my elderly neighbour every week and he spends more than twice what I do on his gorceries, and I have two kids.

He gets nothing but pre-packaged junk (to be fair, he can't stand to cook very well anymore) while I cook from scratch; it really is that simple.

Even so, inflation has hit everyone. My grocery bills have tripled in just that last few years. It's nuts.

Yeah people who say "just cook at home" are ignoring this lol. I remember around 2019 I could get like 6 lbs of sirloin steaks at kroger on sale for like 18 bucks total, now I'm lucky to get a couple small packages for that much.
ApexVeritas on scored.co

Well, cooking at home has always been cheaper and preferable, but inflation has hit everything, not just goyslop from the grocery store and restaurants. I cook almost exclusively at home, and my grocery bills have still tripled.

This is why I gave up. With two kids we're getting around $1000 worth of food completely free every month. Serious jobs just aren't worth the trouble anymore.

That's a ridiculous list of goyslops.

* Muesli and warm milk for breakfast

* Curried egg sandwich and fruit for lunch

* Chili con carne on rice with cucumber and onion salad

* Chicken noodle stir-fry

* Hearty beef and bean stew with buttered bread

* Tuna moray on rice

* Alfredo broccoli with garlic bread

* Butter chicken with home made garlic naan bread (naan bread has two ingredients and takes moments to make)

* Home made pepperoni pizza (with home made naan bread bases) served with a simple green salad

* Shepherds pie served with roast carrot and peas and gravy. Home made yogurt and fruit for desert.

Learn to cook so these meals can be prepared quickly during the week or batched and frozen on the weekend and frozen.

If you want to cook something time consuming, plan ahead and cook something quick the night before (pasta or chili) and prep the veg or the sauce for tomorrow in advance.

(((Usury))) and (((inflation))) is obscene, however cooking with fresh produce and cutting out the junk food would cut the cost in half.

Yes, it will take time to plan and cook each evening and preparing lunches for the kids AND it will take effort to learn how to count protein to ensure your kids get enough, however the alternative is being a nigger and abandoning your children.

Here's a real menu:

Bacon and eggs for breakfast

Chicken or salmon and broccoli for lunch

Steak and sweet potatoes for dinner

Snack on blueberries, strawberries or other low glycemic fruit

I presented a cost effective menu for children.

As a parent, I'm not going to play silly edge-lord games with you... however if you're not feeding your children steamed chicken and steamed broccoli and filet mignon then you're not edgy enough. You fail.

Visions of you trying to feed a four year old steamed sweet potato for dinner made me laugh, so you get points for that.

And the you transformed into a truck and the whole bus clapped.

I hope you weren't looking for my approval.

steele2 on scored.co
16 days ago 2 points (+0 / -0 / +2Score on mirror ) 1 child
[It's similar to egg salad sandwich: boiled eggs mashed with mayonnaise and curry powder. Often with rocket or lettuce. IMHO it's superior to egg salad sandwiches.](https://i.imgur.com/gNYLRVW.jpeg)

It's especially nice if you make a large batch of the mixture and use it for a few days.

If you spent half that on any cheap cut of animal protein and eggs, you’d have about 10x the nutrition and raise a healthy family.
But since you’re a fucktard millenial, you’re convinced a corn dog and chocolate milk is human food.

Burn it all.

It's $6/lb here in Sweden with 12% sales tax.

How can it be cheaper here in Sweden where feed lots are banned and if the weather allows they have to be out in grass paddocks 60-120 days a year.

If I wanted I could buy Irish or Latvian meat for much cheaper, but I prefer buying local.

Well that's fucking insane for eggs. Eggs are like $6/dozen right now, and that's actually down about a dollar from a few months ago.

Well I should probably specify it's AUD so US$8 but still insane, having said that if your $6 is USD and what you usually pay that's about AUD$9.35 so makes me feel a little better because while occasionally I get caught out buy the egg shortage I normally buy the home brand, free range 700g carton that is $6.60/dozen (US$4.25)

Once, American eat. Now, American't eat. But somehow still almost half obese!

Me? I eat bat, cat, battered cat, all sorts of things deep-fried in fresh sewer oil. Still less obese than Americans.

Why Americans eat so much slop like High Fructose Corn Syrup, Red 40? Because it cheap! But somehow slop still expensive.

And libertarian attitudes to food! It all come down to individual responsibility, it bigly bad if state regulate food.

Then I understand why so obese. Even a little slop contains big fat and big sugar. Trans fats are the worst fats. People must be careful to avoid fat trannies. They can get in your food and do all sorts of things.

RFK not much good, but least he is doing some things right, like getting rid of Red 6 by 2027. I only like two things about the second Trump Administration so far: tariffs and some of the Make America Healthy Again agenda.

I hope that Americans stop fattening up, because America might capsize if the weight on it becomes too heavy, just like my nigger Hank Johnson said about Guam. Guam probably already had too many obese people on it back then. Many Pacific Islander peoples have high rates of obesity. Some even majority obese. So he was right to be worried. He not even so bad because at least he called Israelis 'termites'.

Australia, Canada, etc. already banned many of these additives decades ago. Quebec, unlike the rest of Canada, also banned junk food advertising directed at children. Quebec is also the least obese part of Canada. One doesn't need to have the mind of a Confucius to see the connection there.

Even pig eat better than American. If I put this $444 worth of goyslop in his trough, he will bite my hand and say: 'Master, I cannot eat three lots of "Chicken and Cheese Tamales" and any "Burritos Bean Rice and Che(ese)", because they belong in the obese spics' trough and not in mine. It is not fit for a pig.' Well, I will go and feed them to my obese spics, then.

But then he will say: 'Master, I cannot eat "Chocolate Hold The Cone!", because I cannot hold the cone.' Well, I will go and feed all "Hold The Cones!" to my obese spics, too! I did not feed them to my obese niggers, because they were getting excited that I would feed them drug 'cones'.

But then he will say: 'Master, I cannot eat three lots of "Korean Style Beef Short", because I am not Asian'. Well, I will go and feed all three of them to my obese Asians.

But then he will say: 'Master, why did you buy me "Just a Handful of Almond". I want "Just a *Mountain* of Almond". Besides, I suspect that you are trying to fatten me up so that you can later deep-fry me in sewer oil and then eat me.' Well, I will assure him that, if I wanted to deep-fry anyone, it would be one of my obese greasy beaners, because they are already so well fattened up and the beaner is indeed greasy and the pan wouldn't even require any oiling. Then, I will go and feed all of the remaining slop, keeping the few organic fruits, to my obese Asians and spics and buy him just a mountain of almonds. As for my obese niggers, they are fine on a diet of fentanyl.

Then he will say: 'Master, you have learned a great lesson today. What is fit for an American is not fit for a pig. Buy $444 worth of slop for your Americans whenever you like, but you only need to buy almonds and organic fruits for me.'
