We have invasive grey squirrel here in Europe which is from the USA, it's essentially impossible to eradicate with hunting because it's a fucking rodent, whilst it's genetically superior in every way to the native red squirrel. It will take 400 years or so until the red squirrel becomes extinct but it will eventually happen.

Someone also released pet racoons here in Sweden 50 years or so ago and we have a very small population now, but it is mostly controlled because of the lynx and wolverines from which it has no way of hiding from.

We have red squirrels in the USA. They survive by being vicious cunts that bite the nuts off grey squirrels.
