Part of the reason they allow criticism of Israel in the open now, is to normalize the subtext that ethnonationalists, not jews specifically, are evil. This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t support Palestine, there’s no downside ostensibly. But the messaging is being allowed out for this reason.
