you're going to notice that the african commanders consider a 1:20 k/d on their part "not a failure" while the norm is hundreds of them dead VS a few Rhodesians. sometimes soviet or cuban advisors show up - they die too.
watch Africa Addio. it's a good documentary in general, but there's a part where they meet up with ex-White Military mercenaries and the cameraman even ends up following behind them as they assault some africans. they can literally dive around full-autoing MGs like it's a video game because the non-Whites can't hit them.
