I have a friend of mine who is dating this Mexican girl but tbh, you can barely tell she's Mexican. I actually thought she was Eastern European or Italian or something when I first met her before I knew her ethnicity.

Obviously, the Spanish colonized Mexico for centuries so I imagine there's a fair bit of Mexicans that have "Spanish roots". Do you guys think marrying and having kids with a light skinned Latina is better than not having kids at all?

Edit - and that's just the light skinned Mexicans. Have you guys seen light skinned Argentinians? They look more "White" than a lot of Europeans.

Louis CK is Mexican and he's the whitest mother fucker on the planet. We don't have enough detail on your case to say for sure, but all I'll add is that "Mexican" isn't a race, and "Latino" is almost equally meaningless in an American context. Your racial thinking seems to be centered around the "Mestizo", which is the numerous dark brown race in Mexico descended from Aztecs. This is the population that makes up people like illegal immigrants in America, and cartels in Mexico.

The whole thing is sort of like "bros, is it ok to pollute my bloodline with an African wife? Her name is Annelise van der Merwe and she's from Cape Town. Her eyes are weirdly blue and her hair is weirdly blonde for an African, but I'm just worried if our kids are gonna come out all retarded from the race mixing."

Did you actually ask what her heritage is? Her family very well might have immigrated to Mexico from Germany or some place, back in the day when Mexico was an attractive destination.

In a case like that, I see zero reason whatsoever that a linguistically Spanish (a European language, remember), ethnically German person should be excluded from a clean gene pool.
