Reward would be the wrong word, and if your plan is to do a death bed confession, it is not real repentance, nor was it ever going to be. It's not a 'oh, wait, I'm sorry or whatever'.
'And the legionnaire came to Jesus and said, 'Lord, verily I have been a bad man. My soul is burdened greatly with the suffering I have inflicted upon others. God knows what's in our hearts and we can't lie to Him. He alone knows if we truly repent and it's frankly arrogant for us humans to try to figure out is someone is genuinely sorry or not.
