Remember, it wasn't just Germany. A lot of countries were (and remained!) right-wing or under the leadership of right-wing figures for much of the 20th Century thereafter.

And then of course we have Mr. Helicopter himself, the leader of Chile (and whose only mistake was thinking democracy could work, allowing it to slide left in the years since his demise), and over in Africa, we had the likes of Libya which the jews couldn't allow to exist in peace.
