I'd guess cheap labor for the fisheries industry. Sweden has a lot of hired SE asians to do that kind of labor.

Most of the Thai that come here do it for picking berries in the forest, the fishing industry would rather freeze the fish and ship it all the way to Asia, thaw it and then process and pack it in order to freeze it again and ship it back to the European market. There was a huge scandal about it a while ago.
