Yup, and it’s harder than ever today to be the breadwinner when everything is against white men getting jobs in general, but especially jobs that pay relatively well, and are considered “prestigious”. You can get away with not making much money if you have what’s considered a “prestigious” position that a woman can brag to her friends about, but even if you’re a plumber, or some other type of tradesman who makes decent money, unless she can say you own your own business, she will likely always look down upon you, and never talk you up around other women. Most women today are more about image than anything else. It’s not about the truth, it’s about what you can make others believe. In my experience with all the married couples I know, it’s always the women trying to keep up with the joneses. Biggest fucking consOOmers ever.
