Even if you don’t have a lot of money you can usually find a cheap hotel near a place where you can have a few drinks and walk back to the hotel and get wild. And during the day go hiking or explore free state parks. You really don’t need to spend a pile of money at a resort to have a good time and it will kind of spark things back up. And after your wife will start looking to plan the next long weekend, maybe this time kayaking, whatever just so you’re doing it together and then you can get let loose again at night
