I know they’re very similar and the terms are often interchangeable. But I honestly cannot find a reliable definition no matter how hard I try. People always say National Socialism is just a more “extreme” form of Fascism. That doesn’t sound correct to me.

The closest answer I can come to is that the Italians and Spanish had less of a jew problem than the Germans did. They had a communist problem, from what I can tell. Communist basically equals jew, but I’m not sure if they made that connection. Therefore, because of the infiltration of non-German peoples and the subversion they brought, the Germans had a stricter view on race and blood and soil, at least to my knowledge.

I’m also not sure if they differed economically and how much they may have differed.

Again, I see people on here and other places using both terms interchangeably, even when talking about them in a positive light, and I never bothered to do the research. If you could enlighten me and push me in the right direction (books, articles, etc.), that would be very much appreciated.

Socialism is when workers do a revolution and replace the current government with a government that is meant to enforce things such as land redistribution and worker owned work places.

Socialism has been defeated since 1991.

Socialism is not to be confused with communism, the fairy tale invented by karl marx. Socialism predates marx.

National socialism is inspired by, and is a type of, Fascism. Despite the name, Hitler said his socialism is distinct from "Marxian socialism". Hitler was an anti-communist. Unlike socialism, natsocs believe in racial nationalism mixed with country nationalism. They believe that the government and corporations should work together, a type of industry nationalization, if you will. For the greater good.

Natsocs have been dead since 1945.

Because Hitler and Mussolini did not believe in laizyfarre economy where the government does nothing, rightoids label them both "communist" and ""socialist"". As we have established, that is false. Hitler and Mussolini worked together with private sectors, and they did not do land distribution or workeeer owned workplaces, ergo, they ain't sicialist.

If national socialism is Hitler's brand of fascism, then fascism is Mussolini's brand of fascism. Mussolini invented fascism after all.

He belived in the same economic stuff as hitler, government forcing the private sector to work with the government.

On paper, fascism is not as racial as national socialism, but in practice, mussolini invaded ethopia and slew a bunch of africans there.

On paper, Mussolini wanted government power for its own sake mean while hitler wanted it to serve Aryans.

Remember, "authoritarian" is a buzzword because literally all Governments are like that, there is no non "authoritive" government.

Fascism died in the 1970s with fransisco franco.

Alright. There you go.

of course there are non-authoritarian governments. Like our wonderful liberal democracies in the west that jail you for questioning the death toll of a certain historical event
