Its incredible to think how much friction / time loss / labor this generates.

Meanwhile in my "3rd word country" 90%+ white Romania i can run in a store, get what i want, selfscan, pay with card and be out in under 5 minutes.

It still works like this in most areas in the US. But obviously not areas with <50% Whites, and everyday, another store reaches the tipping point and starts implementing this shit.
