yep. ethics and giving a shit about things make you easier to manipulate and take advantage of than other animalistic savage species.

case in point, my last job, wherein i was lied to/manipulated by french ✡︎✡︎✡︎, and my work ethic and virtues made it easy for them to blindside me and take advantage of me, swindle me for thousands of dollars, ruin my mental & physical health, and ultimately, my entire career.
